Charitable Foundation

R.A.D.A. Charitable Foundation Since our early days as a trade association, the R.A.D.A. has enjoyed the support of the people in the communities we serve. The goodwill extended to us over the years inspires us to "give something back" through our Charitable Foundation.

Annually, the Rochester International Auto Show generates monies, which are distributed to children's organizations that not supported by large entities, preferring small organizations that thrive on their own efforts in fundraising. In July 1985, the Foundation was created and has since granted over $200,000 to children's organization.

Today, the Foundation is developing a plan which will allow tremendous increases in its giving power by utilizing its charities in the fundraising process. The children the R.A.D.A. has touched will never be known, and the R.A.D.A. supports the prospect of creating opportunities for those who are in need.

  Sponsored by the Webster Lions Club, is a summer camp for youngsters who are legally blind or visually impaired. The Camp provides real-life opportunities not otherwise available to the blind. This includes crafts, non-competitive games, swimming, roller skating, horse-back riding, field trips and an overnight camp out.
